Helpful hints

  • There are several things you could do to help your a/c sytem work better and save money not only on your elctric bill but on costly repairs as well.

  • Create a habit of checking and replacing your air filter.

  • Do a visual inspection around your system, if water, oil, or burnt marks are present, call for professional help before it gets worse

  •  Hose off your condensing unit, two or three times during summer for proper air circulation and improve compressor's performance.

  • If you have a dog please do not let it pee on the condenser, or it won't be long before you need a new one, and keep him away from wires around your unit.

  • Garden should not be too close or too thick around unit to allow unit to suck air around the sides and discharge it off the top.

  • Have a professional technician inspect your system at least every other spring, some of the most common problems are predictable and could be found during a routine inspection.
